Reshaping Societies is Needed!
The impact of the COVID-19 Coronavirus is being felt across the globe. Pandemic has completely changed the life of people as we know it . This unfolding situation is affecting not only the health of individuals, but transforming the structure and life of Organisations across almost all sectors, cohesion of communities, provoking serious financial disruption, and many implications are continuing to affect our lives, our societies, destabilizing our economy.
While many hope those changes are temporary, the pandemic has unearthed weaknesses in the status quo.
It is an incredible challenging time, questioning our way of living and acting, and humanity has a wide range of responses to this threat, showcasing its best and worst.
While the world is still divided on how to act, on one hand, to limit the negative loss of our communities, on the other hand it is a huge occasion for each of us to give now even a stronger try Reshaping our Societies, to figure out and put in place a different way of leaving together finally in harmony with Nature.
We, at Y4PT, we continue to feel it is a one and only opportunity for all the Governments of the world to transform the Societies in which we live in.
This is why we are committed to engage even more now, to collaborate worldwide in generating solutions, both innovatively and decisively.
It is in our hands: Y4PT doesn’t want to go back to the world as it was before, we clearly are here to deal with those new issues that put our Societies in front of the possibility for a change. A real one. That is why:
We are NOW launching the 2nd edition of this initiative to find the best of creativity Reshaping our Human Societies for the good.
Share this page with all your communities: in doing so you multiply the effectiveness and with a simple gesture, you become actor of a transformation:
Reshaping our way of living, to build more equal, inclusive and sustainable economies and societies more resilient in the face of pandemics, climate change, and the many other global challenges we face.

Y4PT, in SHORT
For over 15 years, Y4PT has been bringing together young minds and industry experts in hacks and other events worldwide, to collaborate in investigating and solving problems that face us all. We have a growing community of over 40 countries, and double that number of Y4PT Young Ambassadors. Each year we have generated 30-40 local Labs and Hacks, with more than 3 projects per event developed by local authorities and stakeholders. Yearly global hacks since 2017, each with over 60 participants, have exponentially augmented the perspectives of these projects and collaborations.
To date, we have reached more than 10,000 young people – a proactive, creative, talented and committed worldwide community.
THE SYMBOL OF HACK COVID 19 – RESHAPING SOCIETIES
The symbol we have chosen, the Carrick knot, is a knot that will not jam even after carrying a significant load or being soaked with water. This symbol represents our strong ties, and our will to unite communities through our #Y4PT network of specialists, mentors, volunteers, participants, ambassadors, supporters and friends all over the world.
